What We Do?

We are Worldwide Non-Profit & NGO Ogranization

Education

Education is a fundamental human right, and every child around the world has the right to receive the best education possible. However many children in Africa fail to receive education or receive very little because it is a luxury and not a necessity in most countries. We as Nile Humanitarian Development Agency do our best to create awareness and make it accessible to all children most especially those that cannot afford it, because we believe education is the most significant tool in eliminating poverty and unemployment. Part of our education is providing students with scholarships, renovation and building schools, and providing students with stationary, because we believe that education is the best future investment.

Health

Did you know that the highest percentage of death in Africa occurs due to lack of access to healthcare services? The majority of people in Uganda lack access to better health lack of enough income and insufficient health facilities.According to the World Bank and WHO half the world lacks access to essential health services, 100 million still pushed into extreme poverty because of the health expenses. We as Nile Humanitarian Development agency believe that all humans deserve to be healthy. And to help with this objective, we put the Health program in place with the intention of extending medical services and healthcare to those who need it but cannot afford it. We offer services ranging from simple medical check ups to surgeries.every year we organise medical camps and cataract campaigns to ensure that the rural communities in Uganda are healthy.

Water

Clean and safe water might be an ordinary element of our lives but there are still 1 billion people who do not have access to this. Did you know that clean water is still one of the biggest crisis today?. It is hard to imagine life without water because water is an essential and primary human need.In Africa most communities don't have access to clean safe water and use contaminated water that is shared with animals. In some communities they have to move over 3 km just to get access to safe clean water. As we all know using contaminated water may lead to water-borne diseases such as cholera, typhoid, dysentery to name but a few.We as Nile Humanitarian Development Agency have embarked on a journey to help these communities have access to safe and clean water by building water wells. Up to date we have built over 300 boreholes that have benefited over 500,000 people in the rural communities of Uganda.

Food

Food is a basic and an essential need for all humans to live a healthy and happy life. Unfortunately the level of poverty in the world is very high, most especially in Africa.Did you know that 37.8% of Ugandans live on less than 1.25$ a day? Because of this most families in Uganda go to bed hungry or have only one meal a day.We as the Nile Humanitarian Development Agency put the food Program in place to help ensure that most of these people do not go to bed hungry. With the help of our sponsors, volunteers and freehearted people across the globe, we give out food packages and try our best to increase the scale of this Food and Resources Program, aiming to reach more and more people in need of help.
